Toyo-Sasaki Glass Wamon Sakura Sake Cup, Elongated BT-20203

The Wamon sake cup series, decorated with traditional auspicious patterns, now includes a sakura design that combines cherry blossoms with the lucky hemp-leaf (asanoha) pattern. Each cup comes in its own box, making it a nice choice for everyday use or as a small gift.

Cherry blossoms are seen as a sign of good fortune in Japan, since they signal the start of a new season, and the way they bloom all at once is associated with abundance and prosperity.

Because this cup has a gold decoration, it should not be washed in a dishwasher, and since the glass is not heat-resistant, it should not be used in a microwave.
