Toyo-Sasaki Glass Yachiyo Kiln Cold Sake Set

This cold sake set is made at the Yachiyo Kiln in Yachiyo, in the Shimousa region, carrying on the techniques of Edo Glass, a traditional craft designated by Japan's Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry. The carafe has a built-in ice pocket, so it chills sake for an unhurried drink without watering it down.

The deep indigo blue glass is finished with gold leaf for a refined look, and each piece carries the warmth of handmade glassware.

The set includes one carafe and one cup. The carafe measures 16.5 x 9.6 x 9.6 cm (6.5 x 3.8 x 3.8 in), holds 350 ml (11.8 fl oz), and weighs 270 g (9.5 oz). The cup measures 4.5 x 5.6 x 5.6 cm (1.8 x 2.2 x 2.2 in), holds 65 ml (2.2 fl oz), and weighs 75 g (2.6 oz). Made in Japan from semi-lead crystal glass.
