This deep pan is made in Japan from cast aluminum and is designed for gas stovetops. The bottom is 2.6 mm (0.1 in) thick, and the cast aluminum construction keeps the pan light while still standing up to regular use.
The 22 cm (8.7 in) cooking surface and deep sides make it suited to dishes that need more depth than a standard frying pan, such as deep-frying or simmering. Every step of production, from casting to finishing, takes place in Japan.
