This croissant-shaped steam cooker is made of diatomite and is used when baking bread at home. Soak it in water, then place it in the oven next to the bread as it bakes.

As the diatomite releases moisture during baking, the resulting steam surrounds the bread, giving the crust a crisp texture while keeping the inside soft and fluffy. The material does not contain asbestos.
