Wahei Freiz Enzo Anti-Boilover Saucepan 16cm and Pot 23cm with Rack EM-011

This set pairs an anti-boilover saucepan with a two-handle pot, both made of stainless steel in Tsubame-Sanjo, Niigata, as part of the Tsubamesan series that continues the craft heritage of Tsubame's blacksmiths. A stainless steel steaming rack is included.

The deep rim design reduces the risk of boilover when simmering or boiling, so there is no need to add extra water partway through cooking, which lets food cook through faster and finish well in less time. With the included rack, the set can also be used for steamed dishes such as chawanmushi.

The saucepan measures 35 x 19 x 15 cm (13.8 x 7.5 x 5.9 in), weighs 590 g (20.8 oz / 1.30 lb), and holds 2.3 liters (2.4 qt). It works on gas stoves and induction (IH) cooktops, and is made in Japan.
