Wahei Freiz Kurotsuchi Nitrided Iron Frying Pan 24cm Induction MB-2579

This Kurotsuchi 24 cm (9.4 in) iron frying pan is made in Tsubame-Sanjo, Niigata. The iron is given a nitriding heat treatment that bonds nitrogen into the surface, raising hardness and rust resistance. The resulting stable iron nitride layer makes the pan less prone to rust than conventional iron pans.

Iron transfers heat quickly and evenly, so grilled foods brown with a savory finish and stir-fried vegetables stay crisp. The pan works on both gas and induction (IH) cooktops.

Before first use, wash the pan well with detergent and season it with oil. After each use, scrub it with a brush and dry it thoroughly. This model does not include a lid. Made in Japan.
