Wahei Freiz Kurotsuchi Nitrided Iron Stir Fry Pan 24cm with Lid MB-2581

This Kurotsuchi 24 cm (9.4 in) iron stir fry pan is made in Tsubame-Sanjo, Niigata, and comes with a standing stainless steel lid. The iron is given a nitriding heat treatment that bonds nitrogen into the surface, raising hardness and rust resistance. The resulting iron nitride layer makes the pan less prone to rust than conventional iron pans.

Iron transfers heat quickly and evenly, so stir-fried vegetables stay crisp and grilled foods brown with a savory finish. The pan works on both gas and induction (IH) cooktops.

Before first use, wash the pan well with detergent and season it with oil. After each use, scrub it with a brush and dry it thoroughly. Made in Japan.
