This pasta pot from Wahei Freiz's Rozer series combines the heat retention and rust resistance of stainless steel with the fast, even heat conduction of aluminum. The bottom is a three-layer construction with an aluminum alloy core sandwiched between two layers of stainless steel, giving the pot a sturdy, stable base and helping food cook evenly with less hot-spotting.
The lid has a tempered glass window, so you can check on your cooking without lifting it and letting heat escape. The pot includes a stainless steel strainer insert for draining pasta, and it works on both gas stovetops and induction (IH) cooktops. This 22 cm (8.7 in) pot holds about 6.2 liters (6.6 qt).
