Kyoto Katsugu Straight Grain Thick Hinoki Cutting Board M

This cutting board is cut from hinoki cypress grown in the Uraki-so region and finished using only straight-grain (masame) wood.

The natural softness of the wood is gentle on knife blades, and the 2.5 cm (1 in) thickness lets you cut through ingredients smoothly. Because only straight-grain wood is used, the board also resists warping.

The board measures 36 x 21 x 2.5 cm (14.2 x 8.3 x 1 in) and weighs 920 g (32.5 oz / 2.03 lb).
