SALUS Clear Kyusu Teapot with Clip Mesh Infuser

This clear teapot from SALUS brings the clean, glass-like look of a kyusu to the table in a durable resin that resists breaking. The body is a heat-resistant saturated polyester resin rated to 110°C (230°F), with a polyester and polypropylene lid and clip-on mesh infuser rated to 120°C (248°F), so it can be used with freshly brewed hot tea.

The clip-on mesh infuser fits into the pot and holds the leaves while they steep, then lifts out cleanly. Made in Japan, it suits black tea, green tea, and herbal tea, and its simple, uncluttered shape fits comfortably into both Japanese and Western table settings. It is available in two capacities, 260 ml (8.8 fl oz) and 480 ml (16.2 fl oz), and measures 17 x 12.7 x 8.6 cm (6.7 x 5 x 3.4 in).
