SALUS Clear Kyusu Teapot with Clip Mesh Infuser L

This clear teapot from SALUS offers the glass-like look of a traditional kyusu in a tough, shatter-resistant resin. The body is a heat-resistant saturated polyester resin rated to 110°C (230°F), while the lid and clip-on mesh infuser are polyester and polypropylene rated to 120°C (248°F), allowing hot tea to be brewed directly in the pot.

The mesh infuser holds the leaves during steeping and lifts out cleanly once the tea is ready. Made in Japan, it works well for black tea, green tea, and herbal tea, and its clean, simple form suits both Japanese and Western settings. This teapot comes in two capacities, 260 ml (8.8 fl oz) and 480 ml (16.2 fl oz), with overall dimensions of 17 x 12.7 x 8.6 cm (6.7 x 5 x 3.4 in).
