This SALUS clear teapot has a glass-like clear body made of heat-resistant polyester resin, so it keeps the transparent look of glass while being more resistant to breaking than glass. A stainless steel mesh infuser sits inside for brewing loose leaf tea.

The simple, uncluttered shape fits comfortably into both Japanese and Western table settings, and the resin body can withstand temperatures up to 110°C (230°F).

It works well for black tea, green tea, and herbal tea, for everyday use as well as for serving guests. The teapot is available in 280 ml (9.5 fl oz), 480 ml (16.2 fl oz), and 730 ml (24.7 fl oz) sizes, and this one measures 15 x 10.8 x 9.6 cm (5.9 x 4.3 x 3.8 in). It is made in Japan.
