Shimizu Mokuzai Hinoki Rice Paddle (Shamoji) 51cm

This is a classic Japanese rice paddle (shamoji) made of hinoki cypress by Shimizu Mokuzai. It is used for serving rice and for mixing rice.

The paddle is 51 cm (20.1 in) long, with overall dimensions of 51 x 12.5 x 1 cm (20.1 x 4.9 x 0.4 in). This extra long size offers generous reach and a wide blade for handling big batches of rice.
