Shimomura Ajiwai Shokubo Titanium Mandoline Slicer ATS-737

Part of the Ajiwai Shokubo series, this mandoline slicer is made for shredding cabbage and slicing onion and cucumber. The blade is titanium alloy, which resists rust and stays sharp longer than many other metals. Because it has no metallic smell, it will not transfer any odor to the food, letting the natural flavor come through.

A notch on the slicer lets you hook it onto the edge of a bowl or plate so it stays steady while you work, and a vegetable holder guards your fingers from the blade so you can slice right down to the last piece.

It measures 27 x 9.7 x 3.8 cm (10.6 x 3.8 x 1.5 in), weighs 97 g (3.4 oz), and is dishwasher safe.
