This mini iron tamagoyaki pan from the Wahei Freiz iron frying pan series is sized for bento. It can make a rolled omelet from just one egg. Because iron can cook at high heat, it turns out tamagoyaki that is fluffy and moist.
Unlike fluororesin-coated pans, there is no coating to peel off, so with simple regular care it can be used for a long time. The iron darkens and develops character the more you use it. It also works on induction (IH) cooktops from 100V to 200V.
Care: after use, remove stuck-on food with hot or warm water, ideally with a scrub brush. Wipe it dry, then heat it on the stove to drive off all moisture. Store it with a thin coat of oil to help prevent rust. Made in Japan.
