Wahei Freiz Menkyo Kaiden Non-Stick Rice Paddle Large KR-9017

This large Menkyo Kaiden rice paddle is designed to keep cooked rice from sticking. Its surface has a double emboss: raised bumps covered with even finer texture. This reduces the contact area with the rice and helps hold moisture on the surface, so rice is less likely to cling.

The smooth edge around the embossed area is thinned so rice does not collect along the rim. The thin edge also slides into rice more easily and cuts cleanly when you fluff and loosen freshly cooked rice.

The paddle is made of polypropylene and weighs 23 g (0.8 oz / 0.05 lb). Made in Japan.
