Wahei Freiz Menkyo Kaiden Non-Stick Rice Paddle Mini 16cm KR-9019

This mini rice paddle has a double embossed surface, with a raised texture overlaid by an even finer textured pattern. The design reduces the paddle's contact area with the rice and helps it hold a thin layer of moisture, so rice does not stick to the surface.

This is especially useful for sticky rice dishes made with glutinous rice, such as sekihan red bean rice or gomoku mixed rice, where regular paddles tend to get coated in sticky grains. Because rice does not stick, cleanup after use is also easier.

It measures 16 x 5.5 x 1 cm (6.3 x 2.2 x 0.4 in) and weighs 15 g (0.5 oz), and is made of polypropylene.
