Wahei Freiz Non-Stick Rice Paddle 21cm KR-7700

This rice paddle from Wahei Freiz is designed with a double emboss surface: raised bumps across the paddle plus finer ridges on top of those bumps. This reduces the surface area that touches the rice and helps the paddle hold a thin layer of moisture, so rice is much less likely to stick to it.

The non stick surface is especially effective with glutinous rice dishes such as sekihan (red bean rice) and gomoku gohan (mixed rice). Because rice does not cling to the paddle, cleanup after use is quick and easy.
