Wahei Freiz Non-Stick Rice Paddle 24cm KR-6983

This rice paddle has a double-embossed surface, a textured pattern with an even finer texture layered on top. The design reduces the paddle's contact area with the rice and helps it retain moisture, so rice does not stick to it as easily. It works especially well for sticky dishes made with glutinous rice, such as sekihan (red bean rice) and gomoku gohan (mixed rice).

Because rice is less likely to stick, cleanup after use is also easier. It measures about 24 cm (9.4 in) long and weighs 40 g (1.4 oz).
