Wahei Freiz Non-Stick Rice Paddle 30cm KR-6984

This 30 cm (11.8 in) rice paddle has a double embossed surface. Raised bumps cover the paddle, and fine ridges sit on top of them. This reduces contact with the rice and helps hold a little moisture, so rice is less likely to stick.

The effect is especially noticeable with dishes made from sticky glutinous rice, such as sekihan (red bean rice), and with mixed rice like gomoku gohan.

Because rice does not cling to it easily, cleanup after use is simple. Made in Japan.
