The Cast Varius deep frying pan shares the same detachable handle system as the rest of the series, built around a trident-shaped base, the first of its kind in Japan, for a stable, secure fit between the handle and the cast aluminum pan body. This composite structure is possible because the pan is made by aluminum casting.
Inside, the pan is finished with Daikin's Silkware EZ, the brand's highest-grade non-stick coating, formulated with specially shaped ceramic particles that help reduce surface wear and improve the coating's durability and non-stick performance.
This deep pan measures 23.1 x 23.1 x 7.6 cm (9.1 x 9.1 x 3 in), with a base about 4.0 mm (0.2 in) thick and a 76 mm (3 in) sidewall height. It is designed for use on gas stoves only.
The handle is not included and must be purchased separately.
