The Cast Varius frying pan is designed with a detachable handle system and a trident-shaped base, the first of its kind in Japan for a stable, secure fit between the handle and the cast aluminum pan body. This composite structure is possible because the pan is made by aluminum casting.
The interior is finished with Daikin's Silkware EZ, the brand's highest-grade non-stick coating, which blends in specially shaped ceramic particles. This formulation helps reduce surface wear and improves the coating's durability and non-stick performance over time.
This pan measures 21.1 x 21.1 x 5.8 cm (8.3 x 8.3 x 2.3 in), with a base about 3.7 mm (0.1 in) thick and a 58 mm (2.3 in) sidewall height. It is compatible with induction (IH) cooktops.
The handle is not included and must be purchased separately to use this pan.
