This is a tamagoyaki (Japanese rolled egg) pan for induction (IH) cooktops, part of the Waraku-tei Ayane series from Takehara Seikan. It uses a pantec process developed at a factory in Osaka, in which the bottom is a magnetic stainless steel plate with raised sections that let heat transfer quickly on an induction cooktop.

The sides are shaped thin while the bottom is kept thick, a shaping technique that keeps the pan light without sacrificing durability. The handle has an indented shape that fits the hand for a secure, comfortable grip.

The pan has an aluminum alloy body with a non-stick fluorine resin coating inside, heat-resistant paint outside, a stainless steel base, and a phenolic resin handle coated with silicone rubber. It measures 37.5 x 14.8 x 8.5 cm (14.8 x 5.8 x 3.3 in), weighs 428 g (15.1 oz), and is made in Japan.
