Takehara Seikan Warakutei Aya Stir-Fry Pan 32cm PM-732

This Warakutei Ayu stir-fry pot is made using Pantec processing developed at a factory in Osaka. A magnetic stainless steel base with raised bumps picks up the electromagnetic field from an induction cooktop so heat spreads across the pan quickly, which suits the deeper sides used for stir-frying.

The body uses a spinning technique called hera-shibori that keeps the sidewalls thin while leaving the bottom thicker, so the pot stays light at 980 g (2.16 lb) without giving up heat retention where it counts. The interior has a fluorine resin non-stick coating and the exterior is finished with heat-resistant paint. The handle is molded with an indentation that fits the hand for a secure grip and is coated in silicone rubber.

The pot measures 54 x 34.5 x 16.4 cm (21.3 x 13.6 x 6.5 in) and is designed for induction (IH) cooktops. It is made in Japan.
