This square deep fryer pot is part of Wahei Freiz's Pocofritto series, designed to make frying easier and less messy using a smaller amount of oil. It is induction (IH) compatible. The square shape lets it stand upright next to other pans on the stove without bumping into them, and oil can be poured straight from a corner of the pot into an oil pot or similar container for easy transfer.
This mini size holds about 560 g (19.8 oz / 1.23 lb) of oil, making it convenient for single servings, bento side dishes, or skewered fried foods such as kushikatsu. It comes with a draining rack so excess oil can drip off fried food, and the rack stores inside the lid when not in use. Its compact square shape also stores neatly in cabinets, including tight spaces under the sink.
