Wahei Freiz Tenboan Tempura Pot with Lid 24cm Induction Compatible TM-9865

This tempura frying pot with lid is part of the Tenboan line from Wahei Freiz, made in Japan from iron for deep frying. Iron holds heat well, so the oil temperature does not drop as much when food is added, helping food fry up crisp, and a built-in thermometer lets you keep the oil at the right temperature.

The deep, stepped shape helps keep oil from splashing outward, so you can fry with less oil. The lid has a mesh on the underside, which lets you drain fried food right after cooking.

An oil splash guard is included, and every part can be taken apart for easier cleaning. The pot is induction (IH) compatible. It measures 33.7 x 25.6 x 13.2 cm (13.3 x 10.1 x 5.2 in), weighs 1.3 kg (2.8 lb), and holds 3.1 L (3.3 qt). Made in Japan.
