Taniguchi Metal IH Compatible Shallow Yukihira Pot 20cm

This is a renewed Wa no Shokunin shallow yukihira pot, an aluminum pot for everyday cooking, in the 20 cm (7.9 in) size. Made in Japan, it works on induction (IH) and gas burners as well as other heat sources.

Compared with the previous version, the plate thickness has been increased by 20 to 35 percent, to about 2.5 mm (0.1 in), which helps heat spread more evenly for gentler, more consistent cooking.

It holds a full capacity of about 1.4 liters (1.5 qt) and measures approximately 37.6 x 22 x 8.3 cm (14.8 x 8.7 x 3.3 in), weighing about 485 g (17.1 oz).
