Taniguchi Metal Yukihira Pot IH-Compatible 16cm

This yukihira style saucepan is part of Taniguchi Metal's Wa no Shokunin (Japanese Craftsman) line, made of aluminum and renewed to work with induction (IH) cooktops as well as gas and other heat sources. The pan wall is about 2.2 mm (0.1 in) thick, 20 to 35 percent thicker than the previous version, which the maker says allows for gentler, more even cooking.

The pan measures 32.8 x 18.7 x 10 cm (12.9 x 7.4 x 3.9 in), holds 1.3 L (1.4 qt), and weighs 390 g (13.8 oz). It is made in Japan.
