Wahei Freiz Enzo Stainless Steel Colander Strainer 24cm EN-003

This stainless steel colander is from enzo, a kitchenware line developed with factories in Tsubame-Sanjo, Niigata, and is built for long-lasting strength.

The 12-mesh plain-weave net is sized so you can wash rice without grains falling through while still draining well. It uses 0.5 mm (0.02 in) stainless steel wire, thicker than typical colanders. The mesh is pulled taut and rolled tightly into the rim with a core wire, so it holds its shape and resists pulling loose.

The rim ring is joined with a seamless special weld that will not snag. The feet are spot welded for easy washing and less buildup of grime, and they keep food in the colander off the counter for hygienic prep.
