Akebono Clear Teapot Kyusu Style with Strainer TW-3748

This clear kyusu-style teapot from Akebono Sangyo has a side handle for an easy, comfortable pour, and it is molded from a heat-resistant, shatter-resistant saturated polyester resin rather than glass, so it holds up to everyday use while still showing the color of the tea as it steeps. The spout is shaped to pour cleanly without dripping down the side.

The built-in strainer is made of the same durable resin, so it will not warp out of shape, and it is easy to rinse clean between uses.

Akebono Sangyo, based in Tsubame, Niigata, designs and manufactures its own line of plastic kitchen tools, with microwave-safe cookware as one of its specialties, backed by in-house manufacturing for quality and safety.

This 260 ml (8.8 fl oz) size measures 17 x 12.7 x 12 cm (6.7 x 5 x 4.7 in) and weighs 122 g (4.3 oz / 0.27 lb).
