Akebono Clear Teapot with Stainless Steel Mesh Strainer TW-3721

This is a clear plastic teapot made by Akebono Sangyo of Tsubame, Niigata Prefecture. The body is copolyester resin (a saturated polyester resin) that is heat resistant and much less likely to break than glass, while staying just as clear so you can watch the tea brew.

The spout is designed to pour without dripping, and a fine stainless steel mesh strainer catches even small tea leaves for a clear cup of tea.

It measures 12.4 x 11.4 x 9.7 cm (4.9 x 4.5 x 3.8 in), weighs about 110 g (3.9 oz), and holds 280 ml (9.5 fl oz).
