Shimomura Verdun Black Fluffy Daikon Radish Grater VB-611

This grater is part of Shimomura Kogyo's Verdun Black series, a line of kitchen tools finished in a uniform black for a monotone kitchen. It has two grating surfaces: one side gives a coarse, crunchy texture for oni-oroshi style daikon, and the other gives a fine, smooth daikon radish puree.

It also includes a smaller grating section for ginger and wasabi.

The grater is made of heat-resistant acrylic resin and is dishwasher safe for easy cleanup. It measures about 24.8 x 8.7 x 1.5 cm (9.8 x 3.4 x 0.6 in) and weighs about 87 g (3.1 oz). It is made in Japan.
