Shimomura Verdun Black Mini Mandoline Slicer with Hand Guard VB-607

This mini mandoline slicer is part of the Verdun Black series, an all black line of basic cooking tools made for a clean, monotone kitchen. It is compact enough to use right at the table or in the kitchen without a cutting board or knife.

The double edged blade lets you slice quickly in both directions, and a grater for condiments is built into the back. The slicer can stand upright on its own, so it does not get in the way while cooking, and it comes with a holder so even small pieces of vegetable can be used up without waste. The heat resistant resin makes the slicer dishwasher safe for easy cleanup. It measures about 17.4 x 5.3 x 2.3 cm (6.9 x 2.1 x 0.9 in), weighs 38 g (1.3 oz), and is made in Japan.
