Shimomura Ajiwai Shokubo Mini Slicer ECO AEC-606

This mini slicer is part of Shimomura Kogyo's Ajiwai Shokubo ECO series, designed with the future of the natural environment in mind. The resin body blends in plant-based biomass plastic made from molasses, a byproduct left over after sugar is extracted from sugarcane, replacing some petroleum-based plastic and helping reduce carbon dioxide emissions.

It lets you slice garnish scallions or cucumbers easily without a knife. The blade is sharpened on both sides, so a quick push-and-pull motion slices food fast. The slicer is dishwasher safe.

It measures 17.3 x 5.2 x 1.1 cm (6.8 x 2 x 0.4 in) and weighs about 33 g (1.2 oz / 0.07 lb). Made in Japan.
